    Senior Manager, Fin Ops & IT Environment Management

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Senior Manager, FinOps and IT Environment Management provides strategic leadership across cloud financial operations and IT service monitoring to ensure efficient, transparent, and value-driven delivery of digital infrastructure. This role bridges financial stewardship and operational excellence—leading cost optimization, performance monitoring, and capacity planning efforts that maximize return on technology investments. Partnering closely with cloud engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, and TBM teams, the Senior Manager ensures that services are cost-effective, secure, and aligned to evolving business and humanitarian needs across the organization.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the development and execution of cloud cost optimization strategies in alignment with organizational budgets, TBM guidance, and mission-driven priorities.
    • Oversee IT operations monitoring practices, ensuring service health, availability, and performance across critical infrastructure and cloud platforms.
    • Collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
    • Establish and manage FinOps frameworks, including chargeback/show back models, tagging governance, and financial transparency initiatives in close partnership with the TBM team.
    • Implement tools and dashboards to monitor usage trends, cost anomalies, and capacity risks, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain ITOM practices to proactively identify and resolve service issues through observability and automation.
    • Support strategic planning and forecasting for infrastructure investments and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration across GTD business units to drive financial accountability and operational maturity.
    • Contribute to Agile ways of working by enabling iterative improvements in service operations and financial processes.
    • Lead disaster recovery planning and disaster management efforts across cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring resilience, business continuity, and coordinated response during service disruptions.
    • Engage with regional IT and field offices to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and context-aware digital service delivery.

    KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 
    • Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
    • Typically has 7 to 10 years of relevant IT and business work experience. 
    • Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver a single IT project on time and within budget.
    • Expertise in cloud financial management (FinOps) practices and tools, including budget forecasting, cost allocation, and optimization.
    • Strong understanding of ITOM, observability, and incident management in hybrid and cloud-native environments.
    • Ability to analyze complex operational and financial data to generate insights and support decision-making.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), cost analysis tools, and performance monitoring solutions.
    • Effective leadership and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams toward shared financial and operational goals.
    • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and Lean practices in service management and delivery.
    • Security-first mindset with awareness of cost-control implications on compliance and risk.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven track record of enabling value-driven technology investments in a global or decentralized organization.

    Senior Manager, Endpoint Security & Network Management

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Senior Manager – Endpoint Security and Network Management is accountable for the global security, performance, and availability of endpoint devices and network infrastructure across the organization. This role leads the development and execution of strategies that ensure secure, reliable, and efficient connectivity for staff in both office and field environments. Working closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and field IT teams, the role is critical in safeguarding digital access, managing cyber threats, and enabling resilient operations in diverse connectivity contexts.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage endpoint security platforms, patching, threat detection, and response.
    • Oversee global network operations, performance monitoring, and firewall configuration.
    • Implement and monitor zero-trust, VPN, and secure remote access solutions.
    • Coordinate network and security support to field office IT teams and remote locations.
    • Ensure policy compliance and lead remediation efforts in collaboration with InfoSec and GTD Governance under TBM.
    • Provide support, guidance, and collaboration to field office IT staff across all regions.
    • Coach and mentor teams to adopt Agile ways of working as the standard approach for delivering value and driving continuous improvement, working collaboratively across all GTD business units.
    • Provide strategic and operational leadership in the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of assigned IT services.
    • Set direction for service delivery and operations teams, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, FinOps principles, and GTD Governance frameworks.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts across GTD units, ensuring shared ownership and accountability for success.
    • Act as a senior escalation point for major incidents, critical risks, and operational challenges, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
    • Oversee service-level performance, compliance, and vendor engagement, ensuring optimal value and risk management.
    • Champion field-focused support and ensure digital service reliability for all global regions, including low-connectivity environments.
    • Provide leadership in aligning cybersecurity, ITSM/GSM, and operations standards across all platforms under your domain.

    KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 
    • Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
