Accountant at Frank Management Consult Ltd

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely remittance of payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets register.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and support monthly and year-end closings.
• Ensure timely and accurate updating of financial data in accounting systems.
• Control and reconcile petty cash, monitor budgets, expenses, and payroll records.
• Conduct monthly stock takes, reconcile variances, and perform bank and till reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA).
• Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, with practical experience in IFRS 16 considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in tax compliance and statutory filings, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, WVAT, and related levies.
• Practical experience in managing debtors, payables, inventory, and fixed assets.
