    Analyst, Partnerships for Forest

    Job Description

    • Work closely and collaboratively with technical teams to baseline their analysis and reporting needs, to define key issues and opportunities, and to provide market and stakeholder analysis
    • Assist in investment catalysation, acceleration and monitoring.  
    • Update and ensure the accuracy of project data, financial tracking tools, and project databases  
    • Support Project Officers in developing and managing public-private innovations projects  
    • Actively participate in team problem solving sessions and provide data insight and trends  
    • Assist in the design, implementation and measurement of programs and initiatives
    • Assist in organizing, managing and coordinating various regional workshops
    • Assist in generating DFID and internal reports
    • Prepare contract action requests (e.g. travel, personnel additions/changes, partner, grant, budget realignment) timely and accurately
    • The position will be expected to support the P4F team in technical aspects of the project and deliver administrative, research, project management and compliance tasks.

    Requirements/Skills

    • Adaptability (keen to try new approaches, employs agile thinking, flexible and open to change).
    • Relevant university degree in sectors relevant to the project (e.g. environmental studies, agriculture, economics, business management).
    • Evidence of experience or interest in international development, stakeholder management, forestry, PPP, sustainability or agriculture commodity value chains. Maximum 2 years’ relevant experience is preferred.
    • People skills (communication, follow through, respect for individual, interpersonal relationships, networking).
    • Accountability (ensures work quality, organisational skills).
    • Fluency in English - excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Innovation (intellectual curiosity, solution-based problem solving).
    • Passion and commitment to the sector and field-based work.
    • Legal right to work in Ghana – please make this clear in your application.
    • Master’s degree in a relevant subject
    • Private sector experience
    • Experience and/or qualification in Finance and Investment
    • Competency in French language
    • Excellent report writing skills

    Salary: The salary for this position is between 500 and 600 GBP per month, with an additional transport allowance.
