As an Android Engineer, you will be at the centre of android mobile design and user experience at Renmo Homes Ltd. Your key areas of focus will be building best-in-class android applications for the company’s key concepts.
This is a highly visible role requiring extensive knowledge of the android applications ecosystem.
Along with clean, maintainable code, we are looking for this person to be a leader, a voice and never shy away from learning something new, or pushing the boundaries on what
we can and should do.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, a related subject or a significant professional experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Java/Kotlin is a must.
Proficiency in Flutter is a huge plus
Proven working experience in Android app development and has published at least, one original Android app to the Google play store.
Experience with working with third-party libraries and APIs
An eye for catching and immersive user design.
Collaborating with UI designers as well as software testers to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
Monitoring app reviews and crash reports to detect areas for improvement
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Strong aptitude for writing efficient code and delighting users with best in class UX.
Proficient in HTTP, Web services and RESTFUL APIs.
Experience in testing, version control (Git) and build tools is a plus.
Working knowledge in using popular graphic editing tools is a big plus
