Android Engineer- National Service Position at RenMo Homes

Job Description

• As an Android Engineer, you will be at the centre of android mobile design and user experience at Renmo Homes Ltd. Your key areas of focus will be building best-in-class android applications for the company’s key concepts.
• This is a highly visible role requiring extensive knowledge of the android applications ecosystem.
• Along with clean, maintainable code, we are looking for this person to be a leader, a voice and never shy away from learning something new, or pushing the boundaries on what
• we can and should do.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, a related subject or a significant professional experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin is a must.
• Proficiency in Flutter is a huge plus
• Proven working experience in Android app development and has published at least, one original Android app to the Google play store.
• Experience with working with third-party libraries and APIs
• An eye for catching and immersive user design.
• Collaborating with UI designers as well as software testers to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Monitoring app reviews and crash reports to detect areas for improvement
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Strong aptitude for writing efficient code and delighting users with best in class UX.
• Proficient in HTTP, Web services and RESTFUL APIs.
• Experience in testing, version control (Git) and build tools is a plus.
• Working knowledge in using popular graphic editing tools is a big plus
