Terms of Service (Permanent & Pensionable)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform fault-finding for mechanical equipment and carry out routine service.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Test all mechanical equipment repaired/serviced and hand over for production.
- Record all the work done in respective logbooks/sheets.
Person Specification
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Government Trade Test Certificate Grade II in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirement of chapter six of the Kenyan constitution.

- Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
- Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
- Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Applications including detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), copies of academic and professional certificates and testimonials, names, and addresses of at least three referees, two coloured passport size photos and a copy of National Identity Card should be sent to the undersigned on or before January 15, 2025.
