Communications Intern at Outspan Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing compelling articles, press releases, and blogs for internal and external audiences.
• Create content for the hospital and college's social media platforms.
• Collaborate with departments to source and develop engaging stories, updates, and success highlights.
• Assist in planning and executing communication campaigns for various hospital and college initiatives.
• Provide support in internal communications, such as newsletters and memos.
• Contribute to photography and videography projects for events, campaigns, and social media content.
• Assist with basic graphic design tasks to enhance the quality of visual content.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Creative and able to think outside the box for content ideas.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Photography and videography skills, including basic editing.
• Graphic design skills for creating visual content for digital platforms.
