    Data Support Analyst

    Job Overview:

    • We are looking to hire a data analyst to join our growing team. We have an opportunity for you to use your quantitative and analytical skills to improve our business and help improve business decision-making. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases. You would be required to primarily manage and utilize Salesforce (our client management software system) and use this to improve compliance, finance, settlements, and sales workflow.

You should be adept at analyzing data and be able to identify patterns and extract information from it. The role requires you to think deeper as opposed to just processing data. You must be a team player with time management and great communication skills. You will translate business needs into software and system dimensions and facts (including functionalities and dashboards) by collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure business success.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Provide analysis of data and quality assurance of data, working with internal and cross-functional teams to achieve this
    • Manage and process confidential data and information according to GFX’s guidelines
    • Assist the business and users of our systems to clarify their vision and understanding of systems and software
    • Collaborate with teams to create testing plans, and test cases and improve maximum usage of systems
    • Regularly coordinate and liaise with our system developers (Salesforce, Bamboo, Quickbooks, CRM, etc.) to ensure systems run efficiently
    • Manage users and user roles
    • Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team-oriented
    • Influential; practiced negotiating with others in ways that result in win-win outcomes
    • Become the subject matter expert and provide technical expertise on data analysis on assigned software usage (Quickbooks, Salesforce, Bamboo, and other CRM software). Learn and report on best practices, industry standards, and requirements associated with software usage.
    • Measure the ongoing effectiveness of systems against metric targets. Develop and execute ongoing enhancement/optimization strategy based on measured performance and user feedback
    • Ability to author clear, concise end-user/training materials for processes and communicate these clearly
    • Help develop periodic dashboards, reports, and analyses and train end-users on new reports and dashboards

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    •  Graduate/ postgraduate qualification in computer science or a related field from an accredited university or college
    • GPA 3.0 or better (1st class or 2nd class upper)
    • Minimum 3 years proven experience as a data analyst
    • Good proven knowledge of data visualization software and Microsoft Excel
    • Experience in E-commerce, data management, process analysis, and improvement
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal & relationship building skills
    • Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to lead IT processes, ensuring adherence by colleagues, superiors, or subordinates
    • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks and design solutions for managing risk
    • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
    • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to lead and manage cross-functionally
    • High-level written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
    • Adept at queries and making presentations
    • Confident, reliable, and assertive
    • Comfortable analyzing and visualizing data
    • Solution-oriented
