    Deputy Director Corporate Affairs

    Requirements for appointment:-

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • Possess a master’s degree in a relevant field, which is an added advantage.
    • Have at least eight (7) years of relevant experience with a minimum of three (3) years in a senior management role.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Show proven ability in developing and executing communication strategies and managing media relations.
    • Have knowledge of branding, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Be proficient in digital communication tools and platforms.

    Duties and responsibilities:-

    • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of corporate communication strategies to enhance the organization’s public image and stakeholder engagement.
    • Manage internal and external communication channels, including media relations, press releases, speeches and digital content.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with the media, government agencies, partners, and the public to ensure effective flow of information.
    • Represent the organization in public forums, events and stakeholder engagements. Supervise the production of communication materials such as newsletters, reports, brochures and branding items.
    • Guide the development and implementation of crisis communication plans and manage communication risks.
    • Monitor media coverage and public perception of the organization and recommend appropriate responses.
    • Provide strategic communication advice to senior management and ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals.
    • Promote and safeguard the organization’s brand, identity and reputation across all platforms.
    • Lead a team of communication and PR officers, ensuring effective performance, mentorship and compliance with set standards.
    • Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set target
