Economic Stimulus Programme For The Youth - Diploma Holders at County Government of Bomet

Remuneration: As per the County Executive Approval

Diploma Holders - 100 Opportunities : Kshs. 15,000 per month

The County Government of Bomet seeks to engage 500 youth in the County for the Economic Stimulus Programme. The program aims at mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the County.

Requirements for the Programme:

1. Be a Kenyan citizen below 35 years of age and of sound mind.
2. Academic certificate of various disciplines.
3. Must be a person of High integrity.
4. Self-driven and ability to work under minimal supervision.
5. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Comply with Chapter Six of The Constitution of Kenya, 2010. (Provide evidence of certificate of Good Conduct).

Responsibilities

Programme Activities:

1. Construction of public and social facilities.
2. Clearing access paths, unclogging drainages.
3. Bush clearing, garbage collection and fumigation in the informal settlements.
4. Upgrading and small maintenance works for public offices.
5. Solid waste management in urban areas.

Objective/Purpose of the Programme:

1. Mitigation of Covid-19 pandemic.
2. Empower the youth economically.
3. Utilize the skills and knowledge as they gain experience and contribute towards the development of the County
