Engineering Stores Officer at Frank Management Consult Ltd

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory of materials, including silico manganese, lubricants, Furnace oil, spares, and PPE.
• Coordinate with procurement for the timely replenishment of stock.
• Issue materials and maintenance teams as per requirement and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of items in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular stock audits, verify physical vs. system inventory, and report discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation such as GRN, issuance notes, requisitions etc..
• Liaise with maintenance and production departments to forecast demand.
• Monitor shelf life and condition of critical materials such as refractories and electrodes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines in store operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Materials Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a steel plant or industrial stores, preferably in furnace operations.
