    Environment Officer I - 4 Posts

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implementation and evaluation of department’s strategic plans, programmes and activities at the sub county;
    • Representing the department in all sub-county forums;
    • Ensure public participation in Government service delivery;
    • To handle waste management and sanitation within the Sub County.
    • Collect grass root information on environment, natural resources programs and service delivery and convey to spearhead on policy formulation;
    • Supervision of environment, natural resources and agroforestry programs and services in the sub-county;
    • Compilations of reports as regularly as maybe required

    Requirements for Appointment

    For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

    • Must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in either environmental Science, Environmental Health Natural Resources, Conservation Biology, Bio Resource Management & Conservation or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
    • Be computer literate;
