ERP Lead at Watu Credit Limited

Role Purpose:

The role will work with cross-functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of what they require from the ERP System, then use this to customize and configure the ERP to meet business needs. The role will also be responsible for securing the ERP system through system controls and segregation of role profiles as well as training and support to end-users of varying technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as key liaison between the business and ERP consultants to resolve any technical aspects of MS Dynamics
• Help identify business process needs and implement custom workflows in the ERP system
• Monitoring performance of company ERP System (On-premises & AWS/ Cloud)
• Complete report writing (MS Dynamics and Power Bi) and documentation requests from end-users
• Management and maintenance of ERP Software License Agreements (SLAs)
• Planning, managing, and providing project management leadership and support for MS Dynamics ERP related projects using ERP Project Management methodology.
• Formulate and lead in the implementation of the ERP strategy in line with policies, processes & procedures to deliver business objective
• Provide user training, support, and feedback on ERP/ MSD system
• Managing and controlling ERP Systems access permissions and privileges and creating role profiles
• Implementing security measures by ensuring security of ERP systems, data, network access and backup
• Overseeing commissioning and installing new applications that plug into ERP (MS Dynamics) and customizing existing applications to make them fit for purpose.
• Managing and testing ERP system back-up and recovery plans.
• ERP Systems performance monitoring and usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolves ERP system related hardware, software, user access or other problems.
• Recommend new ERP System features or changes to configuration/ workflows based on user feedback.
• Interact with IT Admins to assist in ERP System troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed
• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering and other Technology related fields
• At least 8 years of experience in ICT with exposure to ERP systems.
• ERP experience is a MUST: working with MS Dynamics (preferable), SAP, Syspro, Sage etc.
• Good appreciation of accounting and finance operations
• Strong product knowledge of ERP systems preferably MS Dynamics latest versions
• Confident in configuring, customizing, and implementing ERP Systems (preferably MS Dynamics)
• Experience with ERP blueprints and full life cycle projects within ERP Systems (preferably MS Dynamics)
• Can form and develop relationships with a wide variety of functional roles and organizational levels to drive cross functional ERP System initiatives involving teams from across the organization.
• Possess excellent communication skills and able to communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership.
