Finance Analyst – Nairobi, 2 Years Contract at Summit Recruitment and Search

The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly and annual consolidation and reporting of financial accounts across the Group’s various companies. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar analytical role.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated monthly Group management accounts and Holding Company reports.
• Ensure timely, accurate submission of monthly GM narratives from operating companies.
• Calculate key financial KPIs (e.g. stock turns, absorption rate, margins, P&L, and balance sheet).
• Support the CFO with performance reports, financial ratios, and AP/AR analysis.
• Ensure consistent reporting across Opcos and provide guidance on proper SAGE ERP usage.
• Act as the Group’s SAGE champion to maximize ERP system value.
• Deliver timely financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA 4 or higher)
• SAGE proficient or at least some experience
• Good analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
• High professional integrity and organizational skills
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a busy accounting environment
• Effective communication to interface with multiple parties
• Proven track record of working in a dynamic and pro-active environment
