Finance & Operations Senior Associate at Pezesha

Reporting to the CEO and the Head of Strategy & Operations including collaborating across all team members and partners, the Finance & Operations Senior Associate will perform the following primary responsibilities;

• Manage and lead Business Development in relation to SMEs partnerships and strategic liquidity/lending partners 
• Development and oversight of internal financial systems and plans
• Project management of various initiatives and partnerships and overseeing the end to end operations including supporting internal talent needs
• Identify and lead Liquidity and investment strategies/products and implementation by considering liquidity and any other risks
• Finance related and accounting operations and treasury objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion.
• Provide market strategic insights to the management team, including financial trends, investor concerns, competitor actions etc
• Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances in the sectors we support and business partners. Inlcluding representing the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, legal, investors, auditors and officials
• Developing and improving the financial, risk models and pricing models in relation to various projects or expansion plans
• Work closely with the CEO in designing and drafting strategic business proposals to drive revenue growth and value to the business
• Oversee communication & reporting of financial results to investors through comprehensive analytics and reports in collaboration with the CEO and in a timely fashion at all times.
• Lead compliance related matters

Requirements

• Education: Finance/Economics or Actuarial Science. MBA or a professional qualification e.g. CFA will be an added advantage
• MUST HAVE At least 2 years in Financial modelling, Price modelling, and forecasting methods
• MUST HAVE At least 2 years in Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail skills, project management skills, communication skills, presentation and leadership skills
• At least 2 years working experience at a managerial or senior level with a track record of leading teams, projects and company growth revenue
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and approach problems creatively
• Commercial banking or finance experience in a medium- to-larger corporate combined with the technical skills will be an added advantage
• OTHER ADDED ADVANTAGE: Capital Markets, Investment Banking skills, Strategy skills, data analytics skills
