Create and implement strategies for cultivating and managing ACLED’s high-impact existing and prospective relationships to support ACLED’s mission and growth across the Middle East and Asia.
Execute public relations strategies to enhance ACLED’s global profile, public image and brand recognition.
Expand the organization’s high-impact partnership pipeline by identifying and nurturing key relationships, based on viable audiences and contacts.
Collaborate with partners to amplify ACLED’s messaging and position the organization as a global leader in conflict data and analysis.
In line with our strategic plan, build selective partnerships based on our work.
In close collaboration with the Analysis team and other internal stakeholders, support external engagement with key external stakeholders to highlight ACLED’s analytical outputs.
Prepare ACLED staff for successful interactions with external stakeholders.
Build a calendar of external engagements and thoroughly manage each event by drafting event briefs, collaborating with internal staff, and organizing engagements from start to finish.
Coordinate with the Ops team where necessary to support logistics of engagements.
Provide cross-functional coordination across teams to ensure collaboration across departments and alignment with organizational objectives.
Contribute to ACLED’s strategic planning and growth.
Represent ACLED externally, showcasing the organization’s mission and impact at key events and engagements.
Qualifications
Presence in and knowledge of networks in the Middle East and Asia
Fluency in Arabic and English
7-10 years of experience in public relations, strategic messaging, external affairs, communications, or partnerships management.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies that elevate organizational visibility and engagement through partnerships and engagement.
Ability and confidence to present clearly and concisely to external audiences.
Expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
Master’s degree or more in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Availability for travel up to 15%.
Background in political communications and/or global affairs.
