    Head of Bid Management (Remote)

    About The Job
    Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.

    • Do you have bid proposal/leadership experience across complex and high value grants and/or commercial tenders, and a good understanding of rules and regulations of public sector procurement with focus on FCDO, Institutional Financial Institutions (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank) and other Nordic donors?
    • Are you passionate about managing the performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential?
    • Do you have demonstrated financial/commercial and business negotiation skills?

    We are looking for a Head of Bid Management at a pivotal time of transition and change for the organisation.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership in line with Oxfam’s feminist principles and values to a dedicated team of professional bidding experts. You will develop strategies and ways of working that will improve the successful pursuit of quality funding.

    You'll have:

    • We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to the values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do and our feminist principles.

    An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

    • Experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces, and creating positive change in work culture, processes and practices.
    • Bid leadership experience across complex and high value grants and/or commercial tenders, and a good understanding of rules and regulations of public sector procurement
    • Demonstrated financial / commercial and business negotiations skills.
    • Demonstrated ability, tact, and sensitivity in working across institutional boundaries, business units, and teams (some remotely) in an effective and productive way.
    • Lived experience (s) or evidence of learning/taking action on anti-racism and inequalities
