    Head of Marketing-Insurance Brokerage Firm

    A leading Insurance brokerage firm seeks to employ the services of a well-experienced and result-oriented Head of Marketing to identify business growth and develop strategies to meet organizational objectives

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Having an in-depth technical knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations in Ghana and the ability to advise clients about them
    2. Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for insurance products
    3. Managing marketing teams across two regions setting goals based on documented company revenue and projected budgets and managing teams to achieve results
    4. Tracking data according to KPIs and adjusting strategy as necessary • Creating sales pipelines for self and team and supervising teams’ daily activities
    5. Researching and identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
    6. Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics on revenue targets and lines of business
    7. Co-ordinating and managing compliance responsibilities of teams
    8. Preparing quarterly marketing reports for Board and monitoring outstanding action items
    9. Managing collected marketing data and creating reports that can help executives identify company progress, regression, and any fluctuations in output.
    10. Continually review insurance policies to confirm that policyholder needs are best addressed.

    Skills & Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
    2. Chartered Insurance professional qualification insurance is a must.
    3. Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience working in a sales or marketing role in an insurance brokerage/company/financial institution
    4. Candidates must have core computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (The ability to use analytical tools is a plus)
    5. Exemplary organization, project management, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills are required
