    HR Advisor

    About the job

    We are looking for dynamic and hardworking HR Advisor to join the Ghana Team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring best practices for recruitment and retention as well as general HR services and effective management of employee life cycle, ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably. He/She is also responsible for the effective management of Fleet and outsourced drivers.

    As an HR Advisor, you will be:

    • Responsible for general HR enquiries.
    • Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
    • Reviewing and updating job descriptions
    • Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
    • Training hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques
    • Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
    • Coordinating the appointment and onboarding process for successful applicants
    • Monitoring key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates
    • Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
    • Using HR information systems (SuccessFactors) to access, input and compile data
    • Identifying development needs for each year and using internal and external resources to provide needed trainings.
    • Responsible for all areas of the recruitment process – placing adverts, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, reference checks and provide advice on recruitment and selection process and procedure.
    • Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
    • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
    • Supporting the HR manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary

    To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:

    • 5+ years in Human Resource
    • HR Degree or related field
    • HR professional membership / related certification
    • Labor Law of Ghana
    • Corporate Governance in HRM
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
