The Human Resource Manager reports directly to upper management and the CEO. In this position, you will be responsible for processing payroll and building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in human resource in the food processing and manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage the recruitment, selection process, and onboarding processes
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and tactics, and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment, implement and foster a company culture that values sustainability, high performance, high growth, learning, and a conscious approach
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Organize training and development programs
Manage, mediate and resolve conflicts, grievances, confrontations, or disagreements in a constructive manner
Ensure update and adherence of all personnel administration policies, processes, systems, and procedures
Develop succession plans for key critical positions to understand gaps, and appropriately manages talent flows in the organization
Provide opportunities for continuous learning in the organization
Translate and manage the change effort into a step-by-step implementation plan for the organization
Keep up to date with best HR practices, especially as it relates to the regional context & responsible for the implementation of select HR practices
Liaise with Heads of Department to develop job descriptions and templates for measuring performance for all staff
Ensure legal compliance through human resource management
Manage offboarding processes
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, labor relations, organizational development, organizational management, business or related field
3 or more years of work experience in a manufacturing industry
Must have a strong leadership experience
Must have the ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, growth, learnings and teamwork
Must have excellent listening and negotiation skills
Must be knowledgeable in labor law and HR best practices
Must know how to process payroll
Must have the ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Must be people oriented; have good human relationship skills
Must have strong communication skills; both oral and written
Must have good knowledge of Remuneration, Talent Management, Transformation, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Change Management and Performance Review Management
Must have strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
