You'll be an advocate of Google's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made.
As a Human Resources Consultant, you will lead change in a number of areas, including Labour relations, strategic capability, manager effectiveness, policy and process, culture and engagement and incident response, etc. You will offer a trusted and knowledgeable voice around HR matters as it relates to the market, internally and externally. You will work seamlessly across multiple People Operations (POps) partners and business stakeholders to collaborate effectively and use your influencing skills as needed to represent the needs of Google.
In this role, you will manage multiple projects and country-specific initiatives and understand when and how to appropriately escalate decisions or urgent matters. You will facilitate partner discussions and drive decisions that are good for Google and bring partners/stakeholders along with their change management skills. You will balance the need to analyse/research thoughtfully and move quickly to action/incident response.
