Negotiating, drafting as well as reviewing various contracts to be entered into by the company.
Reviewing and/or amending contractual agreements as well as advising on legal aspects of commercial transactions.
Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of government regulations and policies, and a deep understanding of their impact on the business with an ability to translate that understanding into actionable guidance for the business teams.
Reviewing documentation in respect to credit facilities including term sheets, offer letters and facility agreement, as well coordinating bank facilities and documentation requests.
Collaborating closely with the rest of the legal team to ensure seamless provision of services support to the company.
Creating and revising applicable terms and conditions.
Advising and assisting different departments in the company to resolve legal issues including customer and regulatory concerns.
Ensuring Corporate governance compliance and providing company secretarial services including maintaining company books and registers.
Drafting/reviewing contracts including service level agreements, customer agreements as well as drafting/formulating and implementing corporate policies.
Providing legal advice on different aspects of the business, including Advising on employment law matters.
Preparing reports and presentations to senior members of the company as may be required.
Advising on day-to-day legal issues that may arise and coordinating external counsel in Ghana
Advising the Group Head of Legal on regulatory and supervisory provisions, directives legislations and licensing requirements affecting the company’s operation and objectives.

Requirements
Master’s degree in law from a reputable institution.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience .
JD from an accredited institution with active bar membership.
Strong dispute resolution and litigation background an advantage.
Experience advising senior management of complex, international organizations.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to understand complex legal concepts and analysis and translate those to non-lawyers to create practical processes, guidance and training.
Prior success building relationships and communicating with diverse groups of people.
Demonstrable legal analytical skills, general business acumen and expertise in several of the core areas of work listed below:
Strong project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong teamwork and client service skills; experience exercising influence and managing change while having an open and inclusive tone; solution-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented global or regional organization.
