Junior Graphic Designer at Sheffield Steel Systems

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a good eye for aesthetics, and a passion for visual communication. You will be responsible for supporting the company’s brand and marketing goals through design, from concept development to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce a wide range of materials across print and digital media using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working independently or within teams to meet tight deadlines and budget constraints.
• Maintain and update internal design libraries including images, templates, and multimedia assets.
• Work collaboratively across departments to brainstorm, strategize, and produce creative content for web pages, marketing materials, presentations, internal communications, and brand campaigns.
• Conceptualize and create designs using appropriate layouts, typography, colors, and imagery.
• Stay updated on current design trends and apply market intelligence to project designs.
• Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for internal and external use.
• Assist in the development of a comprehensive branding guideline, including font usage, color palettes, and layout standards.
• Perform other design or marketing-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a graphic design role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills across various media.
• Photography and videography skills, including editing.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to manage time and projects efficiently.
• A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity and innovation.
