Job Specification:

Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:

• Collecting information for the development of knowledge management strategy/guidelines;
• Drafting reports on NHC’s projects, impacts and outcomes;
• Assisting in gathering data, information and documentation of the same for the purpose of knowledge management;
• Collecting data on existing resource to inform its relevancy, accuracy and applicability in the institution and the industry;
• Assisting in the identification, collection, documentation, and storing of tacit/implicit knowledge and converting it into shared knowledge;
• Monitoring the implementation of Knowledge Management Strategy and other initiatives;
• Developing new ideas, approaches, practices and procedures in knowledge management;
• Identifies requisites books and periodicals; and
• Assisting in preparing of e-resources for public access.

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a person must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Library Studies, Information Science, knowledge management, or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
