    Learning and Development Manager

    About The Job

    Purpose

    • Responsible for designing and delivering appropriate training programmes in line with the needs of the business whilst fostering the professional development of the organization’s employees

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop a learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
    • Design training programs for employees and individual development plans.
    • Lead learning initiatives that inspire, educate, and engage people.
    • Collect feedback from participants to support continuous improvement.
    • Leverage technology to boost remote learning.
    • Keep abreast of the latest trends in training and development.
    • Develop communication materials to facilitate learning.
    • Collaborate with other subsidiaries to identify new learning opportunities.
    • Administer and monitor learning programs to ensure compliance.
    • Develop strategies to drive participant engagement.
    • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation.
    • Develop training manuals that target tangible methods.
    • Effectively manage training budget.

    Competencies:

    • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
    • Experience in project management and budgeting.
    • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
    • Practical experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Degree in Human Resources or related fields from a recognised tertiary institution.
    • Eight (8) years of experience working in a similar role.
