    Library Assistant II

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Duties at this level will include preparation of materials for binding; shelf arrangement; provision of reference services to readers; filing of catalogue cards and press cuttings; charging anddischarging library materials.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade C or its equivalent qualification with at least a C in either Mathematics, English or Kiswahili;
    • A Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science or their recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
