    Manager, Digital Platforms

    Job Summary:

    To manage and drive the Digital Platforms (madAPI, Chenosis and Mobile Advertising) delivery and growth strategy by using trends, analytics, and initiatives to maximize customer satisfaction and the company’s revenue.

    Key Tasks:

    • Deliver a deep understanding of market needs and trends for the digital platforms from interaction with clients and analysts.
    • Drive product development through frequent customer insights gathering.
    • Scan the business, evaluate opportunities related to customer and stakeholder needs, and provide guidance regarding digital platforms and innovations for long-term competitiveness and growth in line with MTN Ghana’s ambition.
    • Build strong collaborative relationships with Group Digital and Chenosis teams to ensure products are fit for purpose in execution.
    • Drive Mobile Advertising towards making it a key revenue growth area for Digital. This includes improving data analytics and segmentation, developing new inventory, implementing innovative business development strategy and supporting the sales execution teams.
    • Define and manage the implementation of projects/initiatives road map for madAPI, Chenosis and Mobile Advertising platforms.
    • Hold regular stakeholder meetings to align priorities, progress and to share risks for resolution.
    • Identify potential new opportunities to grow current partnerships identify and vet opportunities for new client relationships.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to execute and secure new local and international partners to further grow the platform business.
    • Define, implement, and measure the impact of specific growth initiatives to drive the platforms.
    • Work with insight and analytics and other relevant teams to manage the measurement & evaluation of product quality and KPI’s.
    • Daily monitoring of KPIs and product performance and put actions in place to grow the active base of customers.
    • Drive Chenosis and MTN API Marketplace, through business development, pre-sales and ideation.
    • Use a design thinking approach to identify key market needs for development and sale.
    • Have a clear process of communicating to internal and external stakeholders about the progress and delivery of new products.
    • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients to different digital platforms per defined standards.
    • Develop financial and business case for relevant digital platforms and innovative initiatives.
    • Work with the larger digital team to brainstorm new and innovative growth plans for the business.
    • Stay abreast with industry updates on new products and share insights with the rest of the digital team.
    • Deliver a deep understanding of market need and trends from interaction with customers, and data analysis.

    Education:

    • A Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent.
    • Scrum Master (PSM) / Agile Coach certification is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • 5 years relevant experience in a similar role with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
