• The Marketing Associate is the external face of Ikigai’s brand, responsible for developing Ikigai’s multi-channel communication strategies and enhancing brand awareness within the digital space to drive traffic and acquire leads/customers.

Education and Experience

• A college graduate with a four-year degree and a minimum of 4 years on the job experience preferred
• Experience with SEO, PPC, analytics, content creation, and campaign management is a must
• Experience with WordPress is a huge plus
• Punctual, professional, thorough, and entrepreneurial
• A quick learning self-starter that works well in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Highly organized and efficient, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively when everything is happening at once
• An individual that does not just show up to work at the office, but owns the office, taking pride in managing every little detail of their work
• Collaborative and engaging, likes to work in a team, but also independent and gets the job done, no matter what is required
• Adaptable and innovative, owning mistakes and moving on
• Customer service and/or sales experience a plus

What to Expect

• This Marketing Associate reports to Head of Growth and closely collaborates with the Senior Marketing Associate. This role is a healthy mix of marketing strategy, planning and execution, content partnership building and networking, content generation, and management.

Roles Responsibilities

Advertising/ Marketing (Digital)

• Support the development of marketing campaigns.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns.
• Support maintenance of paid media by keeping the back end running smoothly and ensuring content is up to date.
• Lead social media inquiries on IG & LinkedIn and support with content creation & scheduling.

Platform Management

• Support with internal comms distribution on What's App & Portal and external job postings.  
• Support maintenance of owned media by keeping the back-end running smoothly and ensuring content is up to date.
• Distribute communications through appropriate platforms.

Brand & Content Management (comms/PR)

• Design and develop internal and external comms and content aligned with brand and business
• Draft and/or create content and comms including responding on platforms and developing materials for events & partners.
• Support implementation of and reporting against the content calendar.
• Support recurring internal and member comms.
• Support with internal team branding such as email signatures, team photos, and P&C welcome cards.

Team Management

• Support new team members to learn.
• Demonstrates interest in developing junior team members; nascent leadership style and skills, and demonstrates desire & ability to grow into a people management role 

Strategy & Reporting (BD)

• Collect member feedback. Conduct market research and synthesize findings for better strategy & decision-making.
• Support with internal weekly and monthly reporting and meeting preparation included.
• Collaborate with CT to understand & leverage locations' USPs.
• Support the Marketing team in the development of marketing strategy.

• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or willingness to quickly learn on the job; able to create polished PowerPoint presentations at senior management level
