Material Handler at SC Johnson

About the role:

The main aim of this position is to efficiently control receipts, assembly, load, check and dispatch services for all SCJ Orders.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving & verifying incoming consignments/goods against Delivery Note/Purchase Order i.e. from suppliers, marketing items etc.
• Generating computer goods received notes (GRN) for any goods received i.e. packaging & raw materials plus non-stocked items etc.
• Liaising with the quality department to ensure that all the incoming consignments are inspected.
• House-keeping packaging, label room & raw materials areas.
• Co-ordinating or making issues and transfers to and from factory, marketing dept etc as per computer generated requisition/return.
• Running the consignment daily transaction report in conjunction with the planning personnel.
• Filing records and documents related to the warehouse.
• Generating delivery notes and dispatching outgoing consignments especially returnable items and rejected items.
• Controlling inventory movement based on FIFO control system.
• ManagingB2B inventory accuracy at W/H or LSPs. Inventory Accuracy, including book to book reconciliation, coordination and audit of cycle and stock counts and annual inventory stock takes.
• Weekly stock reconciliation against system/reports on packaging and raw materials areas
• Keeping of inventory accuracy level 100%.
• Supporting and implement Integrated management systems initiatives in the department

Experience you will bring:

• 3 years’ experience in related field
• CIPS Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of SAP
• Computer literate
