Job purpose​​​​​​​

The resource mobilization officers are responsible for conceptualizing and developing new programs to deepen partner relationships and also provide advice on all policies and strategies relating to Partnership development and resource mobilization in order to help the Agency realize its mandate. The job is an entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer

Job specifications​​​​​​​

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail assisting in;

• Implementing policies, frameworks, strategies and plans on partnership and resource mobilization;
• Drafting of proposals for partnership and resource mobilization;
• Participating in negotiations, development and review of institutional agreements in accordance with the Agency policies;
• Maintaining comprehensive database of partners, agreements, MoUs for funding in the Agency;
• Maintaining local, regional and global strategic alliances and institutional linkages;
• Participating in identification of potential sources of funding from development partners, government, corporate, non-governmental organizations, foundations, and trusts;
• Participating in mobilization of resources from the government, private sector, development partners and other sources;
• Generating of requisite reports.

Person Specification​​​​​​​

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following field: Finance, Economics, International Development Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, International Relations management, Marketing, Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
• Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing where applicable;
• Proficiency in Computer applications.
