Pharmacist - 4 Posts at Meru County Public Service Board

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (B. Pharm) from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons board.
• Have successfully completed at least one year of internship and been registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act;
• Registration Certificate by the Pharmacy and poisons board.
•  Computer knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Screening prescription for legal validity drug interactions frequency and duration of dosing and patience convenience,
• Preparing and dispensing medicines according to good dispensing practices and counselling patients on use of medicines.
