    Presenter (Ghana)

    About the Role

    uLesson is already widely successful in West Africa and is seeking to expand its product offering to South Africa. To effectively achieve this, we are looking for a presenter to join our team. The candidate will be required to take scripts created by our curriculum design and content writing teams and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons to a target audience of children between ages of 10 and 18.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Working alongside members of the media and production team to present video lessons of sufficient quality that meet the needs of both high achieving learners and learners with special needs.
    2. Reviewing content developed by the curriculum development team before presenting in studios.
    3. Voicing content for ads, eBooks and jingles when necessary.
    4. Improving the quality of developed content as guided by learner and/or colleague feedback.
    5. Ensuring that personal and team targets are not just met but exceeded.
    6. Providing swift responses to questions and inquiries made by the company’s motion and sound designers.
    7. Working based on either pre-existing or innovative systems to maintain orincrease the quality of the company’s content.
    8. Any special assignment or task assigned by the manager.

    Qualifications and Skills

    1. Ease in front of the camera and the ability to take directions is essential.
    2. Great command of the English language and strong reading skills are a must.
    3. Ability to communicate clearly in English, in a neutral accent that can be understood by crosscultural audiences spanning Africa, Europe, and North America.
    4. Possess great diction, ability to enunciate clearly, as well as good use of grammar and vocabulary.
    5. Ability to infuse excitement and enthusiasm – and even the occasional comedic relief – into an on screen performance.
    6. Ability to apply good judgement on when to ad-lib and introduce extemporaneous lines into a performance, with the goal of enhancing the overall quality of the content.
    7. Previous experience in acting or presenting in a similar role is a plus.
    8. Previous experience teaching younger children is also a major benefit.

    Location:

    The Role will be in-person, based in Abuja, Nigeria. Relocation allowance and other benefits available.

    Compensation:

    216,000 GHS – 240,000 GHS Per Annum
