Project Manager at Tatu City Limited

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will be a Project Manager for civil engineering projects throughout the development lifecycle at Tatu City; from site identification in the master plan to delivery of infrastructure to both Tatu City and third-party real estate developments. This will be done through effective management of the set budgets and timelines, in conjunction with service providers (where relevant), and then subsequent execution of development activities against these targets.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensure successful completion of the project in terms of the cost, quality and HSE
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, licensing authorities and management to determine specifications, risks and required resources for the project.
• In charge of end-to-end programme and execution of assigned infrastructure projects.
• Daily controls of project’s quality, financials, production efficiency and project management systems and reporting.
• Ensure daily/weekly and monthly meetings and reports are done as per the organization standards, schedule and deadlines.
• Incharge of project briefs, coordination of designs, BoQs and just-in-time procurement processes.
• Ensure responsibilities of Consultants, Contractors and Sub-contractors are clearly agreed.
• Smooth coordination and management of projects team, personnel, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with the QS to prepare, monitor and control project costs and budgets

REQUIREMENTS

Hard skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent degree.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in medium to large scale infrastructure works including roads, bridges, dams, sewer, storm drainage and MEP.
• Experience and implementation of design software’s such as AutoCAD and Project Management software like MS Project,Primavera, Procore including.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Membership with a statutory accreditation body will be an added advantage including but not limited to AAK, EBK, IEK among others.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Requires 24-hour response availability, seven days a week.
