Quality Assurance Specialist at DT One

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for web applications, with adaptability to mobile testing when required.
• Identify, document, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring clear communication with development teams and prompt resolution.
• Create detailed, step-by-step user guides to help customers navigate and use the product effectively.
• Provide actionable feedback to the Product and Development teams, recommending improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and Confluence.
• 2-3 years of manual testing experience, with a track record of improving product quality.
• Proven expertise in testing web applications; experience with mobile apps testing is a plus.
• Technical writing experience is a plus, as it enhances the clarity and quality of user guides and documentation.
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and response codes.
• Proficiency in using tools like Postman to manually test API endpoints.
• Ability to read and validate JSON and XML responses
• Familiarity with common authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, API keys, and tokens
• Understanding of common security practices to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure the secure handling of sensitive data.
• Proficient in manual testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and proactively suggest improvements to maintain high-quality standards
