Quantity Surveyor - Luxury Real Estate at KUSI Consulting

Overview:

• As the QS, you will be responsible for assessing the financial feasibility of all the project development and operation.
• Approving and designing infrastructure for the luxury homes and any other developmental works under the watch of the company.
• Implementing and managing all aspects of our high quality but affordable developments from the earlier vision stages; as well as determining, managing and meeting deadlines of financial objectives of the projects.
• Conduct research on housing needs in consideration of market conditions for specific projects and providing advisory role in the location and analysis of sites and obtain control for new projects

Criteria

• Bachelor degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• A valid driver license.
• Great networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
