Education and Professional Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent training.
• Registered with the Radiation Protection Board of Kenya.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiological examinations in line with hospital policies and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and equipment integrity through proper preparation and daily quality checks.
• Provide clear and accurate information to patients regarding imaging procedures. Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Liaise with clinicians to clarify imaging requests and prevent workflow errors.
• Enforce radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and the public from unnecessary exposure. Ensure timely availability of images to support prompt reporting and service delivery. Undertake other radiography- related duties as assigned.

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 year experience in a busy radiology department.
