Research Project Assistant at Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA)

Data Collection and Management

• Participate in participant recruitment and administer questionnaires, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews.
• Ensure safe and accurate storage and handover of collected data.
• Team Leadership and Training
• Supervise and support Research Assistants to ensure adherence to protocols and quality standards.
• Plan and deliver research team training in collaboration with Burman University.
• Capacity Building
• Participate in the organization and conduct of training sessions to equip youth leaderswith ICT skills for advocacy, social media engagement, and knowledge-sharing
• Community Engagement
• Facilitate community feedback sessions to validate research findings.
• Collaborate with the Community Advisory Board to ensure local voices shape project outcomes
• Advocacy and Knowledge Translation
• Support the operationalization of Knowledge Translation Hubs to promote digital literacy and evidence-based advocacy.
• Assist in preparing presentations and materials for stakeholder meetings
• Sustainability and Scale-Up
• Contribute to concept notes and proposals for scaling up the project.
• Support efforts to establish partnerships for future research initiatives.
• Others
• Perform any other tasks appropriate to the post and as assigned by the the Project Coordinator, Project PI, or their designee..

Desired Competencies and Minimum Qualifications

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Health or Social Sciences
• Experience Experience conducting interviews and community-based research.
