Retail Marketing Executive (Nairobi) at AutoXpress Ltd

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Retail Marketing Executive is responsible for assisting in developing, planning, implementing and monitoring the marketing strategy of the business.
• This position is open to Kenyan Citizens only and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
• An overview of the duties and responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
• Recommend opportunities to be incorporated in the marketing strategy based on the Company’s objectives and current trends
• Identify, analyse and recommend marketing opportunities for all AutoXpress branches which include outdoor signage, instore communication merchandise, in-store marketing opportunities and marketing activations
• Identify, analyse and recommend marketing opportunities for new AutoXpress branches which include outdoor signage, instore communication merchandise, in-store marketing opportunities and marketing activations
• Ensure all external branch branding is well maintained and replaced when required
• Understanding and aligning the brand accordingly to maintain brand equity
• Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and management of events, as and when required
• Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure creation of artwork, photo, video and layout designs used for advertising, broadcast and web communication
• Ensure delivery of high quality marketing materials and services from suppliers consistent with the AutoXpress brand

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business or related field with a marketing option from a recognized university
• Post graduate qualification from Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), is an added advantage
• At least 3 years experience at the same level in a marketing field
• Computer literacy in MS office packages
