Identify potential buyers, traders, and distributors of tea in target markets.
Maintain and update the lead database (CRM) with accurate contact details, communications, and deal progress.
Initiate first contact with leads through email, phone, or social platforms to qualify opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of product presentations, brochures, and sales decks tailored to different markets.
Coordinate digital campaigns to promote Kenyan tea offerings.
Prepare weekly market intelligence summaries on trends, competitors, and buyer behavior.
Support the Global Trade Manager in preparing and submitting quotations, samples, and tender documents.
Assist in follow-ups on offers, negotiations, and final contract signing.
Coordinate with internal logistics and export teams to align delivery schedules and documentation.
Serve as a point of contact for routine customer communication (inquiries, documentation, product updates).
Track client satisfaction and gather feedback after every deal or shipment.
Maintain and update trackers on leads, quotations, sales pipeline, and order fulfillment.
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field
MUST HAVE 4+ years of experience in the agricultural/ Horticulture industry with at least 2 years of which in sales, marketing, or exports coordination for fresh agri-products
Experience in B2B client interactions and export documentation is a plus
