We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Health Practice. You will work with an excellent and diverse team to deliver high-quality consulting and technical assistance projects across the areas of infectious diseases and women’s health.
Key responsibilities:
Manage projects, generate sound advice and provide quality assistance to clients - use skills and experience to break down difficult problems into tractable component parts and identify practical ways to resolve each component.
Conduct and review both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Synthesize findings into clear, well-structured reports and presentations that drive decision-making.
Review the inputs of junior consultants - nurture, train and mentor junior consultants
Prepare clearly thought-out and logically written documents using MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Identify and pursue new opportunities, contribute to proposals, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients.
Interact and negotiate with clients
Contribute to the Health Practice’s intellectual capital, thought leadership, and positioning as a trusted impact partner in the health sector.
Engage with clients, partners, and government counterparts to facilitate collaboration, influence strategy, and ensure strong delivery partnerships.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g. MPH, MBBCH, MBA) or equivalent experience;
Minimum 6 years of professional experience, at least 5 of which spent in oversight of donor programs;
Technical expertise in the area of infectious diseases and sexual and reproductive health and rights;
Experience in knowledge management would be an advantage;
Experience working across sub-Saharan Africa and understanding of regional epidemics and pandemics;
Experience working with and implementing donor-funded programmes preferably in the health sector;
