    Senior Manager(Learning Management)- Nairobi

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement an organizational learning framework that supports strategy, program delivery, and staff development.
    • Work with program teams to identify capacity-building needs and design inclusive, scalable, and culturally responsive learning interventions.
    • Integrate innovation and appropriate technologies (e.g., AI tools) to enhance learning design, delivery, and accessibility.
    • Capture and disseminate lessons learned, best practices, and case studies across teams, partners, and communities of practice.
    • Coordinate training workshops, peer learning sessions, and mentoring initiatives to strengthen staff and partner competencies.
    • Collaborate with MEL teams to ensure data and evidence inform learning agendas, decision-making, and adaptive management.
    • Partner with HR, Program, Comms, and MEL leads to align learning with performance, organizational goals, and staff development.
    • Champion a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous learning, while maintaining relationships with external learning partners and networks.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in education, Organizational Development, International Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in organizational learning, capacity building, or knowledge management in the non-profit or international development sector.
    • Strong facilitation skills and experience leading participatory training and reflection sessions.
    • Understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks.
    • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across cultures and organizational levels.
    • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    • Experience in youth development, women’s empowerment, or community-based programs.
    • Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and evidence-based programming.
    • Experience in designing both in-person and virtual learning approaches.
    • Strong team working skills
    • Ability to champion organizational change through learning and adaptation.
