Senior Product Manager at mPharma

Position Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and grow our logistics and delivery products across our African markets. Working with engineers, designers, marketers, and members of our supply chain, retail, and pricing teams, you will improve the ordering and delivery experience of Bloom, our proprietary pharmacy management software platform used across mPharma facilities.  You will drive outcomes for the product, and define key metrics to innovate around new problem areas. You will share accountability for key decisions, achieve commitments to the delivery plan and provide constructive challenges to focus on our mission. You’ll hone your focus on value prioritization and impact for the business and user, balancing delivery and quality at all times. You will continually interact with our facility partners (including pharmacies, hospitals, and warehouses) and internal teams to translate their needs into product requirements. This is a very cross-functional and high-impact role that reports to the VP of Product Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional product team of engineers, designers, marketers, and business stakeholders to grow and improve our Bloom Logistics product.
• Define product vision, strategy, and metrics for your team, while finding opportunities to shape and move those areas forward.
• Build connections between Bloom and ERP software (SAP) used in our ordering warehouses.
• Grow a product that offers our customers a first-rate ordering and delivery experience from acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
• Develop and contribute a deep knowledge of our customers, and how our customers engage with our products.
• Own, refine, and communicate the product roadmap for your product areas.
• Clearly define and prioritize roadmap and non-roadmap items (e.g. bugs, tech debt) for your team.
• Track industry trends and the competitive landscape pertaining to their product.
• Work closely with sales, product marketing, and the end user to create successful launches for the work you produce.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience, including projects related to Supply Chain, logistics, order management, or e-commerce infrastructure.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills to precisely articulate patient need and effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
• Obsession with customer problems and a desire to solve those problems.
• Strong understanding of commercials and how to drive revenue.
• Demonstrated ability to convert raw data into actionable insights that influence business decisions or processes.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and capacity to lead projects with a high level of autonomy.
