JOB SUMMARY

CITAM seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of a Waiter / Waitress, whose responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service to guests.

The position reports to the Catering Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dishes and kitchenware to be used for service are clean and presentable.
• Ensure the dining tables are clean, properly arranged and set up with clean linen, cutlery, and glasses.
• Ensure excellent customer service is accorded to the guests.
• Handle customer queries, conduct evaluation of customer satisfaction levels and escalate any major concerns.
• Ensure that customers are billed on time and that all bills are settled as per the set guidelines.
• Ensure high hygiene standards are observed during food service.
• Ensure food and beverages are replenished as necessary.
• Ensure used cutlery and all used equipment are taken care of.
• Practical knowledge of ISO standards or any other standards for hospitality institutions.
• Maintain a proper record keeping system for easy retrieval.

Requirements

• Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
• Diploma in Food Production and Service or a related course from a reputable institution. A degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage. 
• Minimum of 3 Years experience in a busy set up.
• IT competence with a bias in Hotel related Systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
