About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse operations for our roofing and construction materials distribution business. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating warehouse activities, and leading our warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of materials.
• Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Coordinate loading and offloading of materials, ensuring proper handling of products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials to prevent damage and deterioration.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum efficiency.
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of machinery.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, and material movement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply or Procurement or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Experience with heavy materials handling and storage.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
• Proficiency in computer systems and warehouse management software (desirable).
• Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English.
