    Audit Senior Associate - ESG and Sustainability Assurance

    The Senior Associate supports the successful delivery of ESG and sustainability assurance engagements. This includes executing key audit tasks, supervising team members, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, and contributing to client satisfaction and technical excellence.

    Key roles and responsibilities

    • Execute assigned areas of ESG and sustainability assurance engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with professional standards and methodologies.
    • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new client opportunities, supporting proposal development, and nurturing existing client relationships.
    • Supervise and review the work of Associates, offering timely feedback, and mentorship to support their technical development.
    • Support the Manager in building positive client relationships by maintaining clear and professional communication, addressing client queries promptly, and escalating matters where necessary.
    • Apply and continuously develop technical knowledge and expertise related to ESG and sustainability assurance, including the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and other relevant sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, GHG Protocol, among others.
    • Uphold the firm’s commitment to objectivity, independence, ethics, and integrity ensuring all tasks meet quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
    • Monitor project progress by tracking engagement budgets, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations, escalating risks, overruns, or scope deviation to the Manager early.
    • Prepare accurate and timely engagement documentation and deliverables in line with the firm's methodology, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, actively participating in relevant training and active participation in firm initiatives.
    • Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures.
    • Any other tasks that will be assigned to you.

    Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree qualification in in environmental science, sustainability or any other related field.
    • Minimum 4 - 6 years’ experience in ESG and sustainability assurance or related roles in a professional services firm.
    • CPA or ACCA qualification (finalist).
    • Familiarity with ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, including IFRS S1 and S2, GRI, Integrated Reporting Framework, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, or UN Sustainable Development Goals, with the ability to apply these during fieldwork.
    • Proven ability to support ESG and sustainability data collection or verification tasks such as evidence gathering, data integrity checks or performing basic analytical procedures.

    Enterprise Risk Management Manager

    Key roles and responsibilities

    The ERM manager will have the following responsibilities:

    • Manages engagements or projects to consistently achieve specific revenue and profit objectives and deliver designated engagement realization as per set KPIs.
    • Maintaining a progress tracker of engagement milestones, tasks and deliverables. profit objectives and deliver designated engagement deliverables.
    • Plan and manage client engagement risk and project budget while providing quality work on the engagement.
    • Supervise and provide technical knowledge, direction, and training to the engagement team to produce quality deliverables on time and on budget.
    • Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and becomes actively involved in recruiting, staff development, mentorship, and practice management.
    • Lead in business development through writing proposals and client presentations.
    • Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures
    • Build an understanding of client business and markets to assist in the development of client relationships and developing a commercial mindset on how work performed impacts profitability at the engagement and practice levels.
    • Manage pipeline and revenue as required, maintain a cross-selling value, meet individual targets and ensure proper billing and timely follow up.
    • Manage client relationships through cross selling by knowing and sharing valuable client information
    • Build industry knowledge through involvement in internal and external events, documenting and circulating articles and thought leadership.
    • Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

    Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Actuarial, Financial engineering, Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related relevant degree course.
    • Must have at least 7 years of experience working in Enterprise Risk Management within the financial services sector (Banking & Insurance).
    • Demonstrated experience in reviewing and/ or implementing Enterprise Risk Management systems/ frameworks.
    • Must have a professional qualification such as FRM, ERM, IRM, ACCA, CFA, CPA or CIA.
    • A masters degree as well as certifications in ESG and climate risk would be an added advantage.

    Strategy Senior Associate _ Deal Advisory

    Key roles and responsibilities

    • Assist the Managers, Directors and Partners in delivering services to clients in diversified sectors.
    • Deliver high quality work on engagements.
    • Actively participate in the hands-on delivery of projects and programs which may include program design & development; benefits & quality management; stakeholder management; portfolio management; program and project planning including milestone & risk management.
    • Develop and present client materials including status reports, project reports and presentations.
    • Preparation of proposals to target clients and support in business development efforts.
    • Review the work of junior members of the team and provide training where necessary.
    • Coaching and mentoring team members performing related tasks and duties as may be determined from time to time by the team leaders and members.
    • Maintain relationships with key client contacts.
    • Any other tasks that will be assigned to you.

    Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
    • Professional qualifications in ACCA, CFA, CPA are an added advantage.
    • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance or transaction advisory services and infrastructure project management..
    • Experience in strategy development, financial analysis, financial modeling, feasibility studies, appraisal and / or project structuring experience.
