Requirements

Minimum Requirements 

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a comparable institution. 

Key Competencies 

• Proficiency in scheduling, documentation, record-keeping, and office coordination. 
• Knowledge of procurement processes and logistical coordination for facility-related services. 
• Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance standards, including infection prevention and control. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and respond proactively. 
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. 
• Knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and asset management. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.

This position is key in providing safe and effective anaesthesia services, pain management, and perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. The role also supports emergency care in the Accident & Emergency unit and contributes to the operations of the ICU/HDU. 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

For Clinical Officer Anaesthetist:

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
• Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia (mandatory)
• Valid practising license from the Clinical Officers Council
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in anaesthesia within a busy hospital setup
• ​Reference letter from an Anaesthesiologist and Surgeon

For Nurse Anaesthetist (KRNA):

• Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia (KRNA – mandatory)
• Valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience
• Reference letter from an Anaesthesiologist and Supervising Nurse Manager

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

• Diploma in Communications, Media Studies, or a related field 
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar or related role within a busy call centre or healthcare environment

Skills Required 

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and call centre systems 
• Strong understanding of hospital services and general operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
• Ability to manage multiple calls, prioritise tasks, and maintain accuracy under pressure
• Competence in using phone systems, automated call distributors (ACD), and digital communication tools
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail
