Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
- Managing enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
- Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
- Planning publicity strategies and campaigns
- Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
- Managing and sharing content with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook
- Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
- Creating and managing brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, etc
- Analysing media coverage
- Distributing information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
- Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good First rstanding of media needs and media relationships
- Good First Degree from a recognised university
- MBA/Master's from top business or recognized university
- 5+ years professional experience in PR management

- Interpret design briefs in terms of requirements and needs - and produce working design concepts in quick turnaround time
- Design across all digital assets, e.g. website, web applications, advertising, electronic newsletters, banners, social media and other digital media
- Design, layout and format marketing and communications materials across the organisation
- Proactively recommend creative communications for marketing proposals
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas for tiered campaigns
- Amend final designs to feedback comments and gain full approval
- Work as part of a team/closely with designers, copywriters, category managers, merchandizers etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven and demonstrable graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Ability to understand design briefs and present creative design solutions, as well as communicate and present ideas
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies
- Highly proficient and able to prioritise design workflow
- Professionalism, attention to details and deadline oriented
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and improve - no big egos required.
- Understanding of user interaction with design and data driven designing
