    Internship Program - Communications

    The Communications Intern will focus on improving the department’s ability to track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across a diverse communications portfolio. The role is ideal for candidates with a solid data science background, experience with tools like PowerBI, and interest in applying their skills to the marketing and communications function.
    Responsibilities

    • Develop and refine PowerBI dashboards to track and visualize KPIs for social media performance, website analytics, and email campaigns
    • Support the Communications team in setting up and optimizing workflows for real-time performance monitoring
    • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving communication strategies
    • Assist in designing templates and frameworks for presenting analytics and performance insights to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with the team to integrate business intelligence insights into communications planning and decision-making
    • Document processes, systems, and workflows to ensure sustainability
    • Support internal quality control and review processes
    • Compile web and social media analytics reports
    • Present and update PowerPoint slides

    Who You Are

    • Actively enrolled in or recently completed a university or similar educational program in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related technical field 
    • Interest in leveraging data to enhance communications strategies and decision-making
    • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and other data visualization or business intelligence tools
    • Familiarity with social media analytics platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram), website analytics tools (Google Analytics), and email marketing software (ActiveCampaign) is an advantage
    • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis is a plus
    • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Integrity: discretion when working with confidential and sensitive matters and information
    • Written and spoken proficiency in English

    Internship Program - IT

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operations Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting daily IT operations, assisting in troubleshooting technical issues, and playing a key role in onboarding new employees. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world IT experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of business devices and applications
    • Provide first-level end-user support on hardware and application-related queries
    • Support the onboarding, cross-boarding and offboarding processes by managing user accounts.
    • Support the IT team in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software and contracts.
    • Coordinate the shipment and delivery of business devices across 27+ countries where CrossBoundary operates.
    • Assist the IT team on major projects such as new system rollouts, device refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades.

    Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

    • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
    • Familiarity with IT service desk or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk).
    • Basic knowledge of onboarding processes and tools such as EntraID or Intune.

    Internship Program - People Operations

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Intern to join our People team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting daily people operations such as assisting in updating team member data and playing a key role in onboarding new employees. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world People Operations experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Support the onboarding, cross-boarding and offboarding processes for new and exiting team members. 
    • Support the People team in maintaining up-to-date information for all team members across the firm on our HRIS (BambooHR) 
    • Assign core courses to the new hire on our Learning Management Platform, Engagedly, along with any role-specific courses designated by the hiring manager.  
    • Assist with immigration process admin – including but not limited to, researching on the process to apply for work permits in new territories and updating  
    • Track consultancy engagements, including sending out contracts, onboarding, notifying the Manager when a contract is about to lapse and send extension contracts, where applicable. 
    • Ensure documents stored in BambooHR are current and accurate. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to update key documents such as HR policies, benefits documents, country specific payroll documents and other employee resources as needed. 

    Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory) 

    • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
