Experience and qualifications

• First Degree from a recognised university (Postgraduate level of education would be advantage).
• ACI accredited.
• 3-5 years treasury or financial market experience.

Purpose

• To provide strategic and operational direction for Global Markets. Responsibilities include overall governance and risk management, setting of budgets and PNL, reporting, statutory compliance (local and cross-border). An essential aspect of the role is to promote brand integrity and thought leadership within the industry.

Experience and qualifications

• Appropriate financial degree e.g. C.A post grad level essential, CFA recommended
• Appropriate ACI accreditation
• Min 10 years experience in a banking environment or financial services
• Min 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in managing a team successfully within acomplex environment
• Broad understanding of compliance and current working knowledge of the laws, including global regulations
• Beneficial if experience of the Capital Market in Ghana, Western Africa to be able toreadily challenge the thinking
• Relevant systems and process knowledge
• Sound understanding of the country and Group’s structure, business flows and where tosource information
