    Offshore Lifting Specialist

    Applus Velosi is seeking to recruit a Offshore Lifting Specialist.

    Scope of work

    • The role requires a highly knowledgeable rigging & lifting professional with strong leadership, project, HSE, codes & standards skills, combined with at least 10 years international experience in all aspects of the onshore/offshore sector.
    • He/She will be experienced in the management or risk, operations/regulations, the preparation and review of specific lift plans, visits to sites to assess individual requirements such as access, crane radious, ground conditions and the like and for providing guidance for the safe execution of highly technical lifts

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  CPCS Blue Competent Operator or Equivalent qualification
    •  NVQ or equivalent qualifications
    •  Rope Access level 2
    •  LOLER Certification
    •  Offshore survival and medicals
    •  Must be willing to work on shifts
    •  Must be a Ghanaian National

    Experience

    •  Personnel must have 10-15 years professional experience in offshore deepwater
    •  Construction experience in flex lay, ridged lay and heavy lifting

    Salary: Negotiable
