    Manager – Information Systems (IS) Audit

    • The Manager – IS Audit will design and execute technology-focused audit plans covering infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s transformation strategy and regulatory requirements. This role is critical to strengthening IT risk oversight and safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets across the bank’s expanding digital, retail, and MSME platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • IS Audit Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement a risk based IS audit plan aligned with the bank’s technology and transformation agenda.
    • Conduct audits of IT infrastructure, core banking systems, digital channels, cybersecurity controls, and emerging technologies (e.g., cloud, APIs, fintech integrations).
    • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IIA and ISACA standards.
    • Evaluate the adequacy of IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, and change management processes.
    • Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Assurance
    • Assess the cybersecurity posture, including vulnerability management, data protection, and incident response.
    • Provide assurance on the design and effectiveness of identity & access management, network security, and data loss prevention measures.
    • Evaluate digital banking, mobile, and internet platforms for operational resilience and security compliance.
    • IT Governance and Risk Advisory
    • Review IT governance frameworks, project management practices, and system acquisition processes to ensure control integration.
    • Advise management on emerging technology risks, regulatory compliance (CBK, Data Protection Act, PCI DSS, IS27001), and IT risk mitigation strategies.
    • Support the Chief Internal Auditor in presenting IT audit findings and risk insights tsenior management and the Board Audit Committee.
    • People Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a team of IS Auditors, ensuring skill growth in IT and cybersecurity audit.
    • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, IT Security, and Operations teams tstrengthen overall control culture.
    • Champion a learning and innovation mindset within the audit function.
    • Any other official duty that may be allocated from time ttime.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • Master’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or Business Administration is an added advantage.

    Professional Certifications:

    • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) – required
    • CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CEH, IS27001 LA – added advantage
    • Additional certifications in Data Analytics (e.g., Power BI, ACL, IDEA) are desirable.

    Experience Required

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Information Systems Audit or IT Risk Management, preferably within a commercial banking environment.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial audit role.
    • Demonstrated experience in auditing core banking applications, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital platforms.
    • Proven participation in audits involving cloud infrastructure, fintech integrations, or large-scale system
    • implementations.

    Relationship Manager-Trade Finance

    • The Relationship Manager - Trade Finance will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Trade Finance business. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new Trade Finance clients, implementing growth strategies, managing existing client relationships, and structuring trade facilities to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactively prospect and acquire new Trade Finance clients, encompassing both Corporates and SMEs, through targeted marketing efforts and relationship-building initiatives.
    • Develop and implement Trade Finance growth strategies tailored to different client segments and sectors, driving business expansion and revenue generation for the bank.
    • Actively manage and nurture existing Trade Finance client relationships, with a focus on increasing wallet share and delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Originate, structure, and place trade facilities that are of structured nature, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Trade Finance products and market dynamics.
    • Participate in client presentations, marketing drives, and other relationship management activities to promote Trade Finance products and services.
    • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by participating in trade forums, conferences, and industry events to stay abreast of market trends and client needs.
    • Provide expert advisory services to clients on Trade Finance products, demonstrating a thorough understanding of both funded and non-funded facilities.
    • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and meetings, producing comprehensive visit reports and term sheets to drive business development and relationship building.
    • Lead high-level negotiations to secure new and additional business, demonstrating strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Prepare customized client proposals and various reports to meet client needs, collaborating closely with internal departments such as credit, treasury, and transaction banking for seamless service delivery.
    • Drive the Trade Bank strategy by engaging with branches, training branch teams and other departments on trade finance products, and refining trade finance procedures in consultation with the Head of Trade Finance.
    • Actively monitor competitor product offerings and industry trends, providing recommendations and guidance to the Bank on trade-related products to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
    • Ensure the highest quality of service in customer engagement, maintaining the bank's reputation as a trusted partner in Trade Finance solutions.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, with an upper second-class honor or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a Trade Finance relationship management role.
    • Professional banking certification such as AKIB or equivalent will be an added advantage.

    Regional Treasury Sales Dealer

    • Location: Coast Region, Mt Kenya Region And Rift & West Region
    • The Regional Treasury Sales Dealer is responsible for driving Treasury and client relationship management business across a designated region. The role focuses on corporate, MSME, and retail clients, promoting FX products, advisory services, and hedging solutions to support the Bank’s strategic growth and Tier 1 scaling objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • FX Sales & Revenue Generation
    • Achieve assigned regional FX sales targets through new client acquisition and portfolio growth.
    • Promote FX products including spot, forward contracts, swaps, and hedging solutions.
    • Develop tailored solutions for corporate and MSME clients to manage currency risk.
    • Client Relationship Management
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with regional clients to increase loyalty and repeat business.
    • Provide advisory services on FX exposure, currency risk, and hedging strategies.
    • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
    • Market Intelligence & Strategy Support
    • Monitor local and international FX market trends to provide insights into clients and management.
    • Support regional FX strategy development aligned with treasury and business objectives.
    • Collaborate with treasury and FX trading teams to deliver optimized client solutions.
    • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Ensure all client transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and approved risk limits.

    • Prepare regular reports on regional FX sales performance, client engagement, and pipeline and maintain an active call sheet.

    • Achievement of regional FX sales and revenue targets.
    • Growth in client portfolio (corporate, MSME, and retail clients).
    • Client retention and Satisfaction metrics.

    • Number of advisory and hedging solutions implemented for clients.
    • Timely and accurate reporting of regional FX Activity.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    Academic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACI, or relevant treasury/FX certifications are advantageous.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Banking in a relationship management role.
    • Proven track record of achieving FX sales targets and managing client portfolios.
    • Experience working with corporate, MSME, and retail clients across regions.
    • Exposure to high-growth or transforming banking environments is an advantage
